Port Agent Brake

Brake Port Agency Services

Run your vessels on schedule at this Weser river bulk and general cargo port with agents based locally. VertomCory's Brake office provides port agency and husbandry for the diverse cargo traffic at this Lower Saxony facility between Bremen and Bremerhaven.

Brake handles steel, forest products, grain, animal feed, project cargo, and other bulk commodities at its multiple riverside berths along the Unterweser, making it one of the more diverse smaller German ports.

Efficient Bulk and Cargo Operations at Brake

Avoid delays through Weser river navigation, pilotage from the outer Weser pilot station, and berthing coordinated by the local team ahead of arrival. German customs (Zoll) clearance, cargo documentation, and bremenports/Lower Saxony waterway authority formalities are completed ahead of arrival.

Steel coil and section handling, forest product documentation, grain export certification, and project cargo coordination are each managed with the specific terminal liaison and documentation they require.

Stay compliant with German and EU customs, environmental, and waterway regulations throughout the call. Documentation, WSV waterway filings, and any industry-specific environmental requirements are managed on your behalf so your vessel departs with all obligations met.

Crew Welfare and Ship Supply at Brake

Rely on specialist local support from agents based at the port. Crew changes are managed with immigration and transport, with Bremen Airport accessible for crew rotations. Stores, provisions, spares, Cash to Master, and medical assistance are sourced through established Weser-area contacts with delivery to your vessel at the riverside berths.

Consolidate your Brake calls through one local team, with 24/7 availability and regular updates on river conditions and cargo progress throughout.
