Port Agent Dunkirk

Dunkirk Ship Agency and Port Services

Run your vessels on schedule at this major French North Sea port with agents based locally. VertomCory's Dunkirk office provides port agency and husbandry for bulk, tanker, container, and general cargo traffic at this diverse facility that is France's third-largest port by tonnage.

The team handles calls across Dunkirk's extensive terminal complex including the western port, eastern port, and the ArcelorMittal steelworks' dedicated quays.

Smooth Multi-Cargo Operations at Dunkirk

Keep delays down with pre-arrival coordination of pilotage, lock entry, and berthing at the relevant terminal managed by the local Dunkirk team.

French customs (douanes) clearance, cargo documentation, and Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque authority formalities are completed ahead of arrival. Tanker calls at the petroleum terminals receive dedicated handling including bunker coordination through approved Dunkirk-area suppliers, slops disposal, and tank cleaning arrangements.

Keep the call compliant with French and EU customs, environmental, and safety regulations throughout the call. Documentation, DREAL environmental filings, and any terminal-specific formalities including steel cargo and dangerous goods documentation are managed on your behalf so your vessel departs with all French regulatory obligations met.

Keep Your Crew Looked After at Dunkirk

Get specialist local support from agents based at the port. Crew changes are managed with immigration and transport, with Lille Airport and the Eurostar terminal accessible for crew rotations.

Stores, provisions, spares, Cash to Master, and medical assistance are sourced through established Nord-Pas-de-Calais supplier contacts with delivery to your vessel at any terminal in the port complex.

Run your Dunkirk calls through one local team, with 24/7 availability and regular updates on cargo progress and departure timing throughout.
