Port Agent Montrose

Montrose Ship Agency and Port Services

Hold your vessels on schedule at this Angus oil supply, cargo, and offshore decommissioning port between Aberdeen and Dundee on the Scottish east coast.

VertomCory covers Montrose from the Grangemouth office, managing port agency and husbandry for offshore supply vessels, general cargo, and the growing volume of decommissioning traffic at this tidal basin port where the harbour entrance is governed by significant tidal constraints on the River South Esk bar.

Smooth Offshore and Cargo Operations at Montrose

Reduce delays on offshore supply runs and cargo calls with pre-arrival coordination of pilotage, tidal basin access, and berthing. Customs clearance, cargo documentation, and any offshore-specific formalities are managed by the Grangemouth team ahead of arrival.

Tidal access through the harbour entrance is coordinated so your vessel berths on the right window without unnecessary waiting outside the bar, accounting for the basin's specific tidal operating limits and the river's flow conditions.

Keep the call compliant with all Montrose Port Authority, offshore safety, and SEPA environmental requirements handled on your behalf throughout the call. Documentation, regulatory filings, waste disposal coordination, and any decommissioning-related environmental permits are managed by the Grangemouth team.

Keep Your Crew Looked After at Montrose

Get specialist local support for crew and vessel needs through established Angus-area supplier contacts. Stores, provisions, spares, Cash to Master, and crew changes are coordinated by the Grangemouth office. Medical assistance is available at Montrose Royal Infirmary, and accommodation for crew joining or departing is arranged locally.

Run your Montrose calls through one Scottish east coast team at the Grangemouth hub, with 24/7 availability and regular updates on tidal conditions, cargo progress, and departure timing.
